The best Tile Flooring Trends in Fontana for This Year and Beyond
If you are shopping around for new tile, there’s never been a more exciting time to shop. Tons of new trends have blossomed out of the tile industry in the last couple of years. In fact, you may find yourself starting to feel overloaded as you shop the tremendous selection of tile options available at your local store. Before you shop, read on to uncover more about the most prominent tile trends for 2020 and beyond.
Natural Stone Fontana
The most preferred tile trend has people getting back to nature. Constructed monochromatic tiles are quickly becoming a thing of the past. Rather, homeowners are going crazy for natural stone. Some of the most desired selections of natural stone tiles include:
When it relates to home interiors, marble is synonymous with luxury. Marble is a big craze right now and does not show any signs of diminishing in attraction anytime soon. Marble tile flooring is exceptionally elegant and makes a big statement. However, the natural tones and patterns of marble also go with practically any color palette, making it effortless to incorporate into the current appearance of your home interior. Unfortunately, marble can be over of many homeowners’ budget. The good news is that marble-look ceramic tile is available to you, and it looks surprisingly close to the real thing.
Nothing helps you deliver the feel of the outside indoors like pebbles and stones tile. Naturally smooth stones are set throughout a mesh backing for convenient installation. Pebble mosaics work great both indoors and outdoors, but they are mainly popular as a bathroom tile. Install them as shower flooring for a genuinely exceptional look.
Travertine Tile in Fontana
Marble and granite are very attractive materials, but they come at a hefty price. Travertine is a natural material that exhibits some of the same excellent natural patterns that make marble and granite so appealing. Travertine tiles exist in a large range of striking Earth tones, so it is simple to find one that matches your aesthetic. Travertine floors are a good alternate choice to marble, as they are more durable and less difficult to care for.
Onyx Tile in Fontana
Onyx is in fact a gemstone, a kind of quartz found in nature that makes for a truly fascinating tile. Most people associate onyx with the color black, but this gem can actually be found in a range of different colors. A word of warning, onyx is more delicate than various other tiles choices, however it is relatively low-maintenance if installed properly.
Ceramic tile is sensibly priced, manageable, and comes in a wide assortment of sizes and colors. Ceramic tile has been fashionable among homeowners for many years, but the most desirable ceramic tiles today are those that are produced to look like something else. Some of the most desirable ceramic tiles today include:
Wood Look Tile
Another nod to the “natural” style is wood look tile. These ceramic tiles appear notably similar to wood floors. It’s definitely difficult to tell the difference at first glance. Wood look tile flooring is a reasonably priced alternative to solid hardwood. However, just because you are saving on money, does not mean you have to compromise on level of quality. Wood look flooring is as durable as it is attractive.
Large Format Tile
Make a stunning statement with big tiles. Standard tile flooring is typically a 12” square, however, we are seeing an increasing number of customers opting for larger tiles that are 24” or more. Large tiles can be utilized throughout your floor or mixed with smaller tiles to produce one-of-a-kind designs. The options are limitless. Choosing larger tiles can be a practical decision as well. They can be installed quickly and have fewer joints, leaving a smaller amount of grout lines to clean and maintain.
Concrete Look Tile
If you are trying to make a strong statement with your flooring, take into account concrete look tile for your residence. Although concrete does have an industrial look to it, concrete look tile is extremely cozy and welcoming as a flooring. Concrete look tile typically comes in shades of gray and blue, which provide a neutral platform for your home décor.
Whether you want to make a striking statement in your bathroom or enhance the appearance of your kitchen, there is a tile flooring trend that is just right for your home. Be certain that you turn to a reputable home and commercial flooring company when you are ready to buy. The knowledgeable professionals at Empire Tile will help you discover the ideal tile for your home and make sure your new floors are properly installed so you can take pleasure in them for many years to come.
What Our Satisfied Customers Are Saying:
If you're planning to do a big remodel project entirely by yourself and are (like me) intimidated by the magnitude of what you're going to have to learn to get it done, do yourself a favor and leave some of the thinking to the good folks at Empire Tile.I recently gutted our master bath to the studs, and started a remodel that includes replacing a lot of rough plumbing, moving a drain in the slab, complete electrical, etc., much of which I've been learning to do on the fly. We strolled into Empire to see if they could best the big boxes on price for the tile we planned to use. The did, but that wasn't how they really helped us... With nothing more than the square footage of the room and some rough ideas of what tile we wanted, the staff here punched a few numbers into the computer and a half hour or so later, we left with a receipt for all of the cement board, thinset, grout, deck mud, tile, liquid waterproofing membrane, membrane fabric, cement board screws, and probably some random stuff that i've forgotten. Basically, they figured out everything we needed. I'm not usually one to appreciate an up-sell, but I was super excited to be able to leave this figuring in the hands of the folks at Empire. So far, aside from needing an extra bag of deck mud, their estimates of my needs were totally spot-on. Empire Tile is a real gem. Like other specialty businesses in the area, it's also a nice reminder that there's still a number of good things happening in San Bernardino.
